MBP's broad range of professional coding services includes: Emergency Medicine, Evaluation & Management, Hospitalist, Physical Therapy, Wound Care, Ambulatory Care and Family Practice.  All of our coders are certified and carry one of the following designations, CPC, CCS, RCC, RHIA, RHIT, and everyone has a minimum of 4 years of coding experience within a clinical specialty.

MBP’s expert coders participate in seminars to keep abreast of the constantly changing state and federal government rules and regulations to help keep your group compliant. MBP maintains a large educational coding resource library including many industry standard publications and periodicals as well as CMS manuals and other resources available.

MBP’s Medical Coding training programs enforce compliance and our coders strictly follow the guidelines provided by CMS. Our coding experts are extremely familiar with the reimbursement arena, and are current on Correct Coding Initiatives, bundling and unbundling procedure changes, latest developments on Local Medical Review Policies (LMRP), payer specific requirements and any state or federal government compliance issues.

Coding Compliance Program

Under the guidance of Allison Parnell, CPC, CPC-H, Medical Billing Professionals has guided clients through the principles of Evaluation and Management Coding to create and maintain a medical record that supports the medical services that are provided as it creates a framework for future documentation efforts.  Any type of specialty can benefit from this service as it is a requirement by CMS.
